Yoga Intensive Course Description
This Yoga Intensive Course immerse you into the essence of Yoga, teaching you both its aspects, philosophical as well as practical. During this Course, you learn everything that is needed to maintain a regular self-practice independently.
During the Course, you’ll develop awareness that is often overlooked in only physical practice of Yoga. In this practice you’ll focus both on the body as well as the mind – understanding carefully how the 2 interrelate with each other. You’ll also experience a unique approach to teaching the foundations of Yoga Practice in the simplest way possible.
There are thousands of Yoga asanas and breathing techniques, but which of them are the most beneficial for our modern times?
This question is being answered in this Yoga Intensive Course. It is introducing the B.K.S. Iyengar Evolution style – as taught and evolved by Sharat Arora, founder of the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Centre and the Himalaya Shanti Ashram – as well as provides a working knowledge to become a self-practitioner. For those who practice for many years, it is a deeper immersion into the practice. It is a study of Corrective, Rejuvenating – Energizing, and Relaxing – Meditative postures and techniques.
This Intensive Yoga Course is for you if you are interested in deepening your practice and exploring Yoga in greater detail. The program comprises:
- Discovering more subtle aspects of Yoga
- Developing Correct Physical Posture & Mental Attitude
- Broad spectrum of Asanas & Techniques opening blockages in the body & mind
- Focusing on bringing balance through Aware Breathing
- Deepening the understanding of Yoga Philosophy
- Energy generating & storing techniques
What Will You Learn during this Intensive Yoga Course?
The aim of these practices is for you to have a deeper understanding of your Self-development and Healing through Yoga as well as give you all the necessary tools for the correct and successful Self-practice.

The Intensive Course provides you fundamental framework and inspires you to explore deeper within. It is Informative, Motivational, and, above all, Experiential.
The daily program comprises 4 hours of Asanas Class, 2 hours of Meditation, and Yoga Nidra & Pranayama Relaxation. Additionally, to these Yoga Practices, the Course contains Question & Answer Sessions concerning Self-Practice and Yoga Philosophy.
This Intensive Yoga Course should be considered a retreat, where you can devote yourself entirely to Self-exploration, Change, and Transformation. The program starts in the morning and continues until sunset, leaving little or no time for other activities. Therefore, you are advised to come prepared with all your personal needs before the commencement of the Intensive Course. That means you don’t need to make many phone calls or work too much on the internet during the Course and therefore can fully benefit from the 6-Day Intensive Course.
You are provided two healthy vegetarian meals along with afternoon tea. All aspects of Yoga are learned on an Experiential Level, and Dramatic Changes are often felt by the participants.
